Sounds silly, but I have found that when I start scheduling in the things that I like to do, directly into my calendar, I generally do them far more often and I will schedule my life around the appointments.

I have been doing this with massage therapy for about 6 months after I realized that maintenance was the key to keeping my back pain free. I added in manicure appointments a few months back because I always feel put together after a manicure and I absolutely hate it when I am walking around with gross chipped polish.

After mentioning that this wasn’t perfect but this strategy was certainly working and that the next thing I wanted to do was schedule yoga into my calendar, My husband  filled my calendar with a series of classes that he thought I might like ( all were offered for free with our gym membership) and even offered to join me.

Sometimes it is the small things that are just the sweetest!
